Juan Atkins – Control

Metroplex, the Detroit techno label run by Juan Aktins, will launch the new Model 500 single "Control" next month on R&S records – Promotional copies are currently being sent out. New Infiniti remixes are also due out soon jointly on Metroplex & Tresor.

Metroplex was relaunched in October last year with a 12-inch from Brooklyn producer Kimyon Huggins, while ‘Platform View’ was released a month later.

Juan Atkins is widely credited as the originator of techno music, specifically Detroit techno along with Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. The three, sometimes called the Belleville Three, attended high school together in Michigan, near Detroit.

Atkins began recording as "Model 500" in 1985 and founded the Metroplex label. His first single as Model 500, "No UFOs," was a big hit in Detroit and Chicago. He followed it with a series of landmark techno tracks, earning him the nickname "the godfather of techno" and within a few years, Atkins’ work was re-released in Europe.

Gene Farris – House Therapy

Gene’s long awaited and much anticipated Mix CD ‘House Therapy’ will be released at the end of Jan 2012, on Cajual Records.

The release will be accompanied by ‘House Therapy’ tour dates during Feb-April 2012.

Peter Luts – Cayo

Peter Luts better known to his fans as a member of the vocal trance act Lasgo and as the producer behind the group AnnaGrace (formerly Ian Van Dahl).

Luts musical career began at age 12, and is among one of the most sought-after producers in the Dance genre and has released various tracks under the aliases Astroline, Abnea, Heliac, Outrowz, Groovewatchers, and many others, while working with Lasgo. He has also worked with AnnaGrace, Groovewatchers, Nu-Gen, as well as releasing tracks under his own name. He wrote and produced "Love Is The Message", which was the anthem of the 8th edition of Belgium’s City Parade in 2005.

"Cayo" is his new club track that will rock your week and is available for purchase on Beatport.

Tom de Neef – White Isle Memories

Tom de Neef is a brilliant DJ and a fantastic producer with a real passion for music and performing. And, whilst freely running the scale from funk-fuelled disco to tough tech-house, the music that he plays as a DJ is as dynamic and diverse as the music that he produces at his studio in Antwerp, Belgium.

Tom holds DJ residencies around the world including Roger Sanchez’ Stealth parties as well as Hed Kandi events. He also started his own label "Jacksquad" in 2007, which quickly became a highly respected imprint for quality house music.

His track ‘White Isle Memories’ reached nr 3 on the Traxsource House top 100 and 22 overall in 2011, as well as the Beatport house chart 100.

Sandy Rivera – Faith

Sandy & Haze worked an album in early 2007 where "FREAK", "DEEPER" & "ESCAPE" had come from. The boys decided to do a mix of the tune he did with G-Club and put that mix in the album, but the album never developed and Sandy just put out singles on Blackwiz starting with "FREAK" which became a massive tune.

This mix of "FAITH" has never been released or given to anyone. Sandy played it at the closing party for Renaissance at The Cross and the crowd loved it. "It was perfect" Sandy says, "the main room had an amazing system, everyone was off their heads and this tune, come on… you can only imagine the response then". It’s just that time of year when it felt right to share this tune with the world, a time when everyone needs a little "FAITH" & why not for FREE. This will also be a wonderful addition to Haze’s recent success with Noir.
